I was nominated for the Liebster Award by the extraordinarily cool Lillian at Sew Overdressed. I am very excited and I love the idea behind this award! It is to help bloggers with under 200 followers to get their blog out there. I'm not sure where it originates, but I'm excited to be a part.

11 facts about me:

I am moving 2 hours away from home in March to start a new life with my boyfriend. I am very nervous but very excited. :)
I love insects and one day hope to travel and collect rare and interesting insects.
I usually don't use regular bath products, instead I use food items like eggs, honey, and brown sugar.
I collect Japanese puzzle erasers.
When I am feeling sad or anxious I read Alice in Wonderland or some of Grimm's Fairy Tales.
In the winter I am just patiently waiting for summer to come back again.
I am an Art Major, but like most people have no idea what I want to do with my degree.
I sometimes wish life could be like a fairy tale or anime, or a combination of the two.
I have a giant grey cat named Jefferey.
I am going to an anime convention this year {Otakon} but do not know who to cosplay as! x.x
I am a lover of arts and crafts.

1. What's your favourite thing to cook/bake?
    - When I was younger, my mom and I used to make blueberry muffins together. Those were some   of my favourite times and I remember feeling so proud afterwards.
2. What's a talent you wish you had?
    - I wish I could play piano! Honestly, I wish I were musically inclined at all!
3. If you could have one item, for free, right now - what would it be?
    - A cool Lolita dress.
4. Who is someone you look up to for style inspiration?
    - Mostly other bloggers, like Toshiko Shek at "it's not her, it's me." and Lillian at Sew Overdressed, too.
5. What's your favourite thing about blogging?
    - I like to blog to express myself, I love learning how to make things visually appealing.
6. If you could learn any other language instantly - what would it be and why?
    - I would like to learn French just because it is a pretty language and it would be fun to visit France.
7. What type of music do you like? What type of music do you really dislike?
   - I like alternative rock, like The Pixies. I like all sorts of music though! Music I dislike is certain types of country and rap music.
8. What was the last song you listened to?
   - The Most Beautiful Girl in the Room by Flight of the Concords. :P
9. What was your last purchase?
   - My last purchase was actually a baked potato, {kind of silly huh?}
10. Do you have any favourite designers? Do you think they impact on the way you dress?
   - I really like Vera Wang, I like almost everything she makes. She is a bit commercial I suppose, but I feel like her clothing suits me well.
11. What is your most expensive item in your wardrobe?
   - That is a tough one, as I try not to spend more than $20 on anything. :P I'd have to say it is an evening gown I wore to homecoming several years ago in high school. It's a beautiful wine red dress, maybe I'll show you one time.
